Joepie, het quiltwerk van de Valentijnsquilt is helemaal klaar.
This lovely quilt is size 45 x 60 cm. It is small, but not to small. I made it with 1 little bossche rol,1 fat quarters (centre and binding), half a meter white (background) and some buttons. The fabrics were also used at the back. Interested? On the upcoming show in Rijswijk, you can choose your own kit with fabrics, quilting thread and buttons...and then the pattern is for free.
Dit schattige quiltje is gemaakt van een kleine bossche rol, een fat quarters en een halve meter stof. Dit is zelfs inclusief de achterkant. In Rijswijk tijdens de patchwork en quiltdagen kun je een eigen pakket samenstellen en dan krijg je het patroon erbij.
This little book I found at a box full of childrens books. We were looking for some books for my son and I found also this. It is mine from the late seventies. I remember that I loved the pictures from this little lady and look what she is doing!Dit kleine boekje kwam tevoorschijn bij het doorspitten van wat boekendozen. Het komt uit de jaren zeventig. Ik herinner me dat ik deze plaatjes toen schattig vond en kijk wat ze aan het doen is. Er zijn er nog meer, maar die bewaar ik voor een andere keer.
Ik heb je Dresden plates in het echt bewonderd. Ze waren schitterend!
