Two weeks ago I started with a gift for as a birth present. The little girl is expected in August, so it was time to start. I do not think that the parents will read this, so I can show you some of the machine appliqued pieces. The moter saw a quilt like this at a shop in Las Vegas. She just knew that she was pregnant when we visited this City. I bought the book Little Blessing from Nancy Davis Murty, see: www.beecreativestudio.com and I promised her to make her a quilt.A few weeks ago I asked for the colours of the nursery: red, pink and a little orange. I picked up some fabrics and hope the girl (and her parents) like the quilt.
Not finished yet, I have some weeks.....
I did the applique by machine, the stitchery by hand (lovely to do...)
