Today we changed the shop. The 100 quilts from the Year Round are on the shelves again and the 22 quilts from the challenge found a place somewhere in the shop. Different sizes, finished or not, with or without sleeves. It took hours to find the good place for every quilt. Then we had to decide which challenge was the best. More people than last year reached their goal....that is good news. Saturday at 3.00 pm I will tell you what we think was the 'best'. But: deadlines work for the most of us.
Vandaag hebben de winkel veranderd. Alle kleine quiltjes weer in de kast (ik was ook wel weer toe aan een ander uitzicht, volgend jaar iets nieuws voor het jaar rond....deze kleine quiltjes ben ik wel even beu! Het wordt wel weer heel leuk!) Nu liggen/hangen alle uitdagingen in de winkel. Verschillende maten, af of niet, met of zonder tunnels om ze op te hangen. Het duurt uren voordat alle quilts op een mooie plekje liggen. Maar het is gelukt, de cadeautjes staan klaar en we hebben besloten wie de poedelprijs krijgt en wie de 'hoofdprijs'. Uiteindelijk gaat het daar allemaal niet om. Het is te zien dat een deadline voor velen helpt het doel te bereiken.
